ANZAC Day - 2007

Intro

Anzac Day is always marked by a Dawn Service. At one of the dawn services this year a little girl brushed up against an elderly veteran seated, medals pinned on his jacket. "What are they for?" she asked? "They're for you", he replied.

We have located over fifty per cent of those who served with us at 106. Many have done it tough over the years. Each year more of us re-unite, remember those who have passed on, share our experiences since the war and enjoy some of the memories. It can help. Have a look at the reports and consider joining us next time.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon — 4th stanza
